Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style can be seen as positive energetic. I do this on and off the field by having a positive influence on my teammates. I like to keep a positive attitude by cheering for my teammates and giving high fives when my teammates come in and out of the dugout. I also keep my body language the same.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is fearless and focused. My mentality is fearless because I have always been taught to go after any hitter no matter size and age. This can apply in hitting, by facing pitchers. My mentality is also calm, a taking the simple deep breath can allow me to slow down and focus on the next pitch or next swing. Using these methods have helped my mentality and my performance overall.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have achieved the Girl Scouts National Silver and Bronze awards, and currently working on my Gold award. In 2024, I received the community service award and altar serving award at my school. This year I have joined the associated student body as the Communications Representative for the Class of 2028 and prior to high school I was the Student Council President.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
During this last season, I was faced with the task of having to throw 14 innings in one day. I knew that if I wanted to take my team to the championship game I would have to throw all 14 innings.Looking back on that day, I realize that it taught me invaluable lessons about perseverance and teamwork. It reinforced the idea that the human body is capable of incredible feats when driven by purpose.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One major challenge I have faced is managing school and softball, while maintaining good grades. Just as my first semester as a freshman is over, I finished with a 4.0 unweighted. Having to balance school and softball was a challenge. My weekends driving to games was doing school work. I got to understand the value of hard work and it showed off in my first semester.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking to go to a high academic school where I can play softball.
