About Aria

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a defensive-first catcher who plays with toughness, athleticism, and intensity through my actions. I take pride in blocking and receiving every ball, competing aggressively for outs, and bringing a calm, steady presence while managing the game defensively and strongly supporting my pitcher and defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am competitive, coachable, and growth-minded. I’ve made strong progress in my confidence, communication, and emotional control, and I use reset routines to stay focused pitch-to-pitch. I value preparation, feedback, and responding positively after mistakes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In addition to softball, I am a dual-sport athlete and dedicated All-Star cheerleader, which has helped build my strength, balance, endurance, and teamwork. Academically, I earned A’s in AP World History and take honors and AP-level coursework. I also mentor younger athletes within my cheer team and high school softball program.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through softball and cheer, I have developed leadership, accountability, and teamwork. As a catcher, I lead through preparation, communication, and consistency, and I take pride in supporting teammates and earning trust through daily habits, preparation, and consistent effort. I believe leadership is earned through trust, reliability, and daily habits, not titles.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is learning how to recover quickly after mistakes. Through coaching and mental training, I’ve developed reset routines that help me stay composed, focus on corrections, and support my team in competitive situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that values strong academics, competitive softball, and a positive team culture. I want a program that prioritizes long-term development, accountability, and growth, where I can continue improving as a catcher and contribute to the team.
