About Ansley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am scrappy and smart behind the plate always one step ahead of my competitor. I am one of the best framers and blockers in the game. I love to lift up my teammates and just have fun when I play because I am playing for something bigger than myself. I focus on my practice and how prepared I am during the game and trusting what I have done to prepare for this moment.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very outgoing person I strive to be a christ like leader and show love to everyone. I have had to work really hard on my mental side of the game cause I used to be so hard on myself but now with continuous training I have become amazing and trust what I can do. I love just to always be happy and fun.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Sports medicine at my school so we work with are athletic trainers in athletics helping us learn the basics so we can be prepared if we would like to do this in college. I also am in National charity League with my mom which is a mother daughter thing where we serve together. I am a student life leader at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a lot of leadership, in the right way as a young kid I always liked to be in charge but recent years has taught me how to correctly lead my team and be a good captain and catcher behind the plate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I think some challenges I have faced is mainly my mental side of my game before I began to work on it I would destroy myself and think I lost everything for my team but now I can play loose and even help my teammates when they are struggling cause I went through it too. So even though it was hard to go through it and overcome it and it took a lot of work to do so I think it made me a better person

What type of college are you looking for?

Im looking for a D1 school in the south with a good college town and college sports that students go to as well as just connectivity getting to know people. Lastly I want to go to a school with a lot of students I have always gone to a small school for high school and want to be Surrounded by more people.
