About Annalise

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am always eager to produce when having an opportunity at bat. I am very fast and can cover a lot of the field. Motivating my teammates and being positive is imperative. Playing softball gives me great joy and I believe that is evident in my overall demeanor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very competitive. I am eager for an opportunity to make a difference both on and off the field. I am motivated by my teammates, wins, losses, and always value my coaches counsel. I am a positive and humble person who believes there is a lesson to be learned every time I step on the field. Working hard gives me peace of mind and my willingness to learn more elevates my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

2023 Maine Secretary of State Citizenship Award. One of out ten students selected to represent South Portland High School at the Southwestern Maine Activities Association Student-Athlete Leadership Summit. Best Buddies. South Portland High School Yearbook.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Participated in winter track freshman and sophomore year to develop my speed, strength, and mental acuity. My events include: 55 meter dash, 200 relay, long jump, and triple jump. Volunteering at Best Buddies has gifted me the ability to be compassionate and nonjudgmental of others. I am dynamic, leading by example and value being supportive to others.

What type of college are you looking for?

A competitive college with academic rigor, developed softball program, tradition, and a beautiful campus. Ideally the college is supportive of athletes who want to thrive in the classroom. A college where student involvement is important and school spirit is part of the culture.
