About Anastyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is aggressive but smart. I play with confidence, hustle every play, and stay composed under pressure. I focus on being consistent, coachable, and a teammate who brings energy and leadership on and off the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive, team-first mentality. I stay positive, work hard, and don’t let mistakes define me. I’m coachable, focused, and bring energy and leadership while always pushing myself to improve.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am the vice president of our student council. I have received the CB Dodson award for the past 6 years for being in the top two of my class. I’ve received several art awards as well.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills by supporting my teammates, communicating on the field, and leading by example with my work ethic. I also value giving back through community involvement and representing my team and family the right way on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced setbacks that tested my confidence and patience, but they helped me grow mentally tougher. I’ve learned to stay resilient, accept coaching, and use challenges as motivation to improve rather than excuses.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m aiming for a power four college because I want to compete at the highest level against top talent. I’m driven by the competitiveness of elite softball and also value strong academics, because I want a school that challenges me both athletically and academically to prepare me for my future.
