Alli Lasher is coming off an outstanding spring and summer, playing for the varsity team at her high school as a freshman. A strong performance at the Cougar Classic in the spring set the stage for her summer season, highlighted by a spectacular showing at the Colorado Sparkler. Lasher’s home run power was on display in Colorado, as was her willingness to take an extra base on a misplayed ball in the outfield and beat out an infield grounder. A shortstop and third baseman first and foremost, Lasher also spends time behind the plate, utilizing her strong arm both behind the plate and at the hot corner, where she is especially adept at charging in to field bunts.
