Expert Analysis
Akiem Bailum | Prep Softball Scout
The summer season for Alexis Leavitt and her ROI Fastpitch Davis 14U team finished up at the NAFA Nationals in Minnesota. Leavitt tossed 28 innings while not allowing a walk and striking out 33 batters with a 2.47 ERA. She was also key in getting her team to the bracket stage of the Midwest National Championship in mid-July. Three pitches that she particularly places an emphasis on are her riseball, curveball, and changeup. Back in May, Leavitt had an opportunity to participate in her first PGF tournament—the Diamond Legacy Red White and Blue. She pitched 18 innings with a 2.33 ERA during her time in Arkansas.
