About Adler

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’ve been competing on a national schedule since 10U. I’m comfortable swinging away, slapping, or drag bunting, but hitting away has become my favorite weapon, with power to all fields. On the mound, I’m a power pitcher averaging over two strikeouts per inning, featuring a low-60s fastball, a dominant rise ball, an excellent curve, and a 45 mph changeup with sharp downward movement.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with an aggressive edge, but composure defines my game. In the circle, it’s all business. I’ve embraced mental performance training from a young age and have built a deep mental toolbox that helps me compete at a high level with consistency and focus.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m actively involved in a youth Christian organization, and my faith is an important part of who I am. Throughout middle school, I’ve participated in various clubs, but my greatest passion is teaching and mentoring younger players in pitching.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Travel softball has taught me so much more than just the game—it’s helped me grow as a leader. From working with teammates, to staying composed in high-pressure moments, to mentoring younger players, every practice and tournament has pushed me to communicate, motivate, and lead by example. Being a great teammate is a priority of mine. Grateful for the lessons this sport continues to teach me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being sidelined for eight months with an injury was one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced. The rehab, the long days of hard work, and the patience it took to get back on the field tested me in ways I never expected—but it also taught me perseverance and how much I truly love this game. Sometimes it takes losing something you love to realize how much it means to you. Grateful more than ever!

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m searching for more than just a place to play softball. Academics are a top priority, and I want a school where I can challenge myself while competing at a high level on the field against the best. Just as important is the culture—a program that feels like an extended family, where teammates, coaches, and the community support each other and are part of something bigger than ourselves.
