Addison Marker had more than just a terrific freshman season for the Maplewood Rockets this past spring. In fact, she was one of the best pitchers in Ohio. The right-hander finished her campaign with a 15-3 record, a 1.53 ERA, 209 strikeouts, and an opponent batting average of .179, with only one home run surrendered all season. The success didn’t stop there; she also put up big-time numbers at the plate, including a .462 batting average, .557 on-base percentage, 34 RBI, 10 doubles, and five home runs. When she’s not on the softball field, she stays busy playing volleyball. Last year as a freshman, she had nine service aces to go along with five kills. This year’s team has already eclipsed the number of wins from last year, with Marker playing a pivotal role, including having a recent match point kill in five sets against in-state rival Chalker.

Addison Marker made a strong impression on the field this summer with her power in the circle and at the plate. A multi-sport athlete with a fastball that currently touches 60 mph, she racked up strikeouts in the triple digits over the summer season, while also showing an ability to drive the ball out of the park with her bat. Coming off a freshman campaign after which she collected several accolades, Addison continues to build momentum as a high-impact 2028 player with both pitching strengths and offensive upside.
