Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a speedy slapper with situational awareness on the bases! In the outfield I have both range and a strong arm!
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a competitor who LOVES to win, but I’m also a team player and enjoy the social aspects of team sports! I’m loyal, coachable, intelligent, and goal oriented.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the National Honor Society “LHS Torch Chapter”, and on the Lowry HS Varsity Softball, Soccer & Basketball Teams. I was the Freshman Class President, and a member of the WJHS Junior National Honor Society.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
As an underclassmen, returning, 3 sport, varsity athlete, I have learned to listen, watch, and learn from the coaches and upperclassmen. I have also learned that even as an underclassmen, my teammates appreciate my voice, experience, and skills as a leader on the team! I also believe in giving back to our community through service, with either the school, my teams or reffing/umpiring games.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I think the biggest challenge to my athletic success currently is due to living rurally (about 2 hours to the nearest big city). It has made it difficult to play sports at times & puts more responsibility on me to find/make time to practice on my own. Thankfully my parents are very supportive and I have been lucky enough to find teams that allow me some leeway to practice on my own.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a team that will allow me to compete for playing time while helping me develop not just as a player but as a person, citizen, and leader. I’d like to play for a program that works hard, but has fun while doing it! I also want to play for a coach/program that respects its players and feels like family!
