About Abbigale

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a player that possess speed and a great love for the game. I cover a lot of ground in the OF and offensively I focus on .OBP and runs over any other metric.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am team first. My job is to make sure that our team stays focused and light. I take pride in being a great teammate first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an honor roll student. I am aspiring fire fighter that has participated in camps that are put on by our local fire fighters.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a daughter of a coach. I have been around softball my entire life. My older sister played travel ball and now coaches. My father has been a high school football coach for 20 years and coached softball. I have always been expected to be a leader and put in the extra work. I have participated in our Unified Sports as a “coach for special needs athletes.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest obstacles have been loss. My grandfather passed away a couple of years ago. He was one of my biggest fans. I also lost my sisters friend, who had moved in with us a few years ago. She was like a “sister”. She is the reason I wear #5.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school that provides me the room to grow and develop. I am open to travel and independence. I am looking for a program that I can compete and play in. My intended majors are either fire science or forensic science.
