About Abbie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a positive and confident mindset on and off the diamond. I keep an open mind and stay uplifting towards my teammates even during the tougher times.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is very confident and goal-chasing. I like to have a goal to reach while also having fun and enjoying this sport. My mentality is always to be positive and try and see the best in all situations. Mentality has always played a big part in my performance.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved in Kayettes for school, club softball, and club volleyball. I've received academic rewards as in honor rolls for straight A's.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills and qualities I have developed over the years are leadership and communication. Playing has taught me that sometimes you will have to step up to help your team come back together or get through a mental or physical block, it has also taught me that communication is key. Without communication, nothing would be possible, on or off the field. You will always have to communicate.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a public, mid-sized to larger college with an achieving, stable athletic program, a good reputation of science programs, and located in any area.
