Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
When I am on the field I focus on nothing else but the game. Executing each pitch to throw the batter off balance is always my first goal. Every player always has a job to do in any situation, weather it be throwing a pitch, catching a ball, fielding a ball, backing up a play, swinging a bat, or supporting my teammates while in the dugout, there is always something I can be doing on the field.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have devoted a lot of time on perfecting my mental game. I try to think ahead in situations on the field. I also work very hard to be positive and supportive to not only my teammates, but myself as well.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the Heritage Co. church, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the National Honors Society. In school I am an honors student and I am currently taking dual enrollment college courses in 10th grade. I pride myself on maintaining all A’s!
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Each year I complete community service work to support my school’s goal of growing well rounded students that give back to the community. This has helped me to grow in my faith. I am very fortunate that both my travel softball team and my high school softball team feel like family. As a pitcher, I have developed a role of leadership on the field so that I can support my team in any way necessary!
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
In life we all face challenges, but it is how we learn and grow from those challenges that matters the most! I lost both my granny and granddaddy who were both supporters in my softball journey. I have also had minor injuries along the way like sprains, etc, that have made me appreciate every opportunity I have to step foot on the softball field.
What type of college are you looking for?
My biggest dream is to play softball at the collegiate level! I want to play for a team that is supportive of each other and a team that will push me to be the best player and person that I can be.
