In reply to what she does well, she said, "I receive compliments all the time from coaches and players for my arm strength and throwing accuracy. I have thrown runners out from all areas of the field and it's what I love most about playing the position." Offensively, D'Yami is outstanding at the plate. She finished her high school season with a batting average of .333, 24 runs, and an OBP of .465. Her speed is top notch with a home-to-home time of 11.2 seconds and a home-to-first time of 2.6 seconds. She can easily cover ground in the outfield and make remarkable diving catches. Marley has elite-level instincts and can run down any ball and gun down any runner trying to advance. At the plate, she is the lead-off batter for her travel team. She can bunt, soft slap, hard slap, or hit away and is a tough out for any defense. Not only is she a stud defensively, but also offensively, as demonstrated by her stats. As an eighth grader, Leah flaunted a .301 batting average, a .436 on-base percentage, and an OPS of .841. When asked what she does well, Reese stated, "When runners tag up to go home, I love using my arm strength to try and get the runner out. It's very exciting when I do throw someone out at home. Recently at an Ole Miss camp, my overhand velocity was 66 mph." Offensively, Reese is a talented hitter, and her power and versatility make her an incredible asset to her teams. In her previous high school season, she boasted a .430 average with 41 RBIs. In her summer ball season, she finished with a .337 average and 26 RBIs.
