Faith Giglio had an October to remember, hitting a pair of long balls at the New England’s Finest Fall Showcase and then batting .375 with a .500 on-base percentage at the East Coast Softball Showcase. Her swing is mechanically sound, with the potential for opposite-field home run power. She is always a threat to steal a base, beat out a bunt, or come through in the clutch with runners in scoring position. Giglio’s glove is as good as it gets at both shortstop and second base, making backhanded sliding stops and firing the ball to first to double off runners. Between the spring and summer, she hit .393 with a .938 OPS in 112 plate appearances while playing six different positions.
