Makinley Atkinson is a California native and a 5’5″ middle infielder with a ton of potential in the 2029 class. She competes for both Extreme Rios/Ching 18U and Amador Valley, where she holds a 3.8 GPA. Atkinson can hit for both average and power and demonstrates a growing skill set that will only continue to improve over time. She also has experience playing third base, where her strong arm translates into great plays for her team. With continued work and experience playing at a high level, we expect Atkinson’s recruiting stock to rise this fall.
