2032s Whose Skill Sets Stand Out Beyond Their Years

Because athletes from the class of 2032 are so early in their softball journeys and do not always have extensive playing experience, the players who have great abilities often set themselves apart on both school and club fields around the country.   Below, Prep Softball highlights five players from the high school class of 2032 whose skill sets stand out beyond their years.    Kendall Johnson is a consistent threat to get on base whenever she takes the field for her teams. In June at the Carpet City Classic, Johnson reached base in two out of every three at-bats, racking up a .600 batting average in the process. She did even better at the Father's Day Classic while playing in right field, batting .714 and maintaining an .818 on-base percentage during a tournament championship run. Now, Johnson prepares for her Georgia fall school season as she looks to continue to impress on the diamond.     Whether she is batting first or ninth in her team's batting order, Sutton Oldham is a player who is a key presence in any lineup in her age group. Playing for Texas Un1ty during the spring and summer seasons, Oldham made important contributions to her team's successes on several occasions, including scoring the winning run over the Indiana Magic in mid-July to wrap up her club season. As she continues to gain more playing experience, Oldham's skill level will only grow.     Kensley Anderson showed off her impressive skills during her club season with 3T's Select 2k14 this summer, especially at the plate. In the last win of her club campaign against StormPrime, Anderson drove in two runs in early- and late-game situations to help her team to a one-run win. The day prior, she earned a pitching win and drove in a run, showing off her combined abilities playing both ways. Anderson's two-way threat makes her a player any coach would want on their team as she continues to work on her game into the fall season.     Whether she is throwing a perfect game, stealing bases, or hitting the ball deep, Valeria Brignoni is a player to watch in the 2032 class. In the circle, Brignoni struck out 190 batters in 163.2 innings of work during her 2026 club season with the Ohio Lasers, capping the season off with a perfect game in late July. She also drove in four runs that day and totaled 66 runs batted in across the season. Brignoni is also a threat with her legs, as she had 20 stolen bases across her season. Brignoni's 2026 campaign will form an important foundation for her as she continues to impress on the softball field.     A left-handed threat in the circle, Charlee Stewart gives opponents a challenging look every time she has the ball in her hand. Earlier in the summer club season, she was named the Most Outstanding Pitcher of the USSSA Branson National Tournament. In August at the MSM tournament with her school team, Stewart hit an impressive .462 and did not allow a single run in four pitching appearances. In the event's championship game, she earned MVP honors after throwing a no-hitter and scoring two runs. Stewart can already deliver under pressure, which is something not many 2032 players can say at this point in their playing careers.
