Playing up a year on a highly competitive 14U Impact Gold Premier team that regularly competes against 16U and 18U teams, Dylynn Benson stands tall and welcomes the challenge. Her main plate discipline is driving the ball through the third-base and shortstop gap or down the first base line, but she also has a high success rate when dropping bunts down. To pair with her right-side small-ball game, Benson has been working on refining her bunting and slapping skills from the left side of the plate. Being able to bunt from both sides of the plate will set her apart from so many athletes as she continues to compete, especially with her speed from home to first.
