About Jordan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I stay focused on the field and I anticipate each play before it happens. I run through the possibilities of plays that could be made on the field in my head. I stay positive on the field and mental tough.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality in softball is that hard work will pay off and that you can only control your attitude and effort. After games I will watch my at bats and learn from my mistakes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was on high honor roll throughout my freshman year. I was also on the academic all conference for my high school softball team. I joined HOSA for my sophomore year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

From playing softball I have learned how to be positive for my teammates even when things are going bad. Softball has taught me to do what is best for my team even if it might not be the best for me. I have been doing community serve since I was a 5th grader to help my school and my town.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I fractured my collar bone beginning of freshman year which cause me to miss the All American Games and many opportunities to get better. I had to get surgery in August. I torn my meniscus in November and missed almost all of basketball season. I had surgery in March and I have been doing PT for 7 months.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for collages with a good softball program and good medical programs.
