Now in her sophomore varsity season of school softball against tough Georgia competition, Porter Butler is continuing her major strides made earlier in the calendar year. Through her first 19 games of the season, Butler posted a .582 batting average with 12 extra-base hits and 24 runs batted in. She also stole 14 bases in those games to start off an important campaign for the Lee County player. Butler’s skills shine behind the plate as well, with her impressive overhand velocity making her a versatile member of any infield. Butler’s fall should continue to be fruitful, both in terms of results and development.
