About Savannah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I compete with aggressive athleticism and take pride in turning opportunities into outs. My exit velocity is up to 70 mph, and I’m already driving the ball nearly 200 feet—with plenty more to come.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I consistently encourage my teammates and communicate with them—especially in tough games or high-pressure situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Jr. Beta Club, FAA, Honor roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I stay active year-round. When I’m not playing softball, I compete in club volleyball for NC Academy Volleyball Club or volunteer in my community. Through these experiences, I’ve grown into a strong communicator and learned firsthand the importance of teamwork and supporting those around me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I may be on the smaller side, and I don’t necessarily look like someone who can hit for power. But I’ve been told—even after a strong tryout—that the only thing I’m missing is size. I know that will come with time. Right now, I’m focused on improving every day so that when it does, I’ll be ready to take full advantage of it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m open to every opportunity and fully committed to finding the right fit.

Savannah Smith, a 2031 prospect out of Raleigh, North Carolina, is an emerging offensive threat who continues to turn heads with her power at the plate. Playing in the outfield and as a utility player for EC Bullets Hensor, Smith has already recorded exit velocities up to 70 mph and is driving softballs nearly 200 feet, which is an impressive feat for a player at her stage of development. A student at West Millbrook Middle School, she also excels academically with a 4.0 GPA while balancing multiple sports, including volleyball. With her combination of athleticism, power potential, and strong work ethic, Smith is a young player to keep an eye on as she continues to grow her game.
