Sofia Esterline is an intriguing Keystone State prospect who has played travel ball for the Virginia Glory 2030 Spring Taxi organization out of the Washington, D.C. area. One can place her in a team’s defensive lineup either on the left side of the infield or as part of a team’s battery as a catcher. Last month, Esterline was announced as a USA Softball All-American Games selection as part of Team Freedom. In February, Esterline brought her talents with her club team to the PGF Florida Fastpitch Classic. She provided energy at the plate with a .429 average and three runs driven in, and on the bases with a trio of stolen bases plus a .556 on-base percentage.
