About Berkley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as a "gritty" player.... I think I can get to every ball, and hit off of any pitcher in the game. I have an extremely high IQ in the field and I trust my instincts a lot. I am calm, confident, and humble, and I lead that way with my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love the game of softball because it has shaped me both as a player and as a person. Being on the field pushes me to work hard, stay disciplined, and compete with confidence, even under pressure. Softball has taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and trusting the people around me even when it's difficult. This game drives me to get better, trust God, and trust myself.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I also play basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

This game is hard, and I have struggled at times, softball has taught me to have faith in God, and in myself. It has made me a leader that I am proud of.... No matter the outcome of a game I always leave the field wanting to get better and to grow as a player mentally and physically, that constant drive is why I love the game so deeply.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school with a great team culture, and coaches who push me to be a better player, and better person. I am interested in a school who influences me to be great business person and encourages me creative thinker within the business.
