About Annalise

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am eager. I want to learn more, gain strength and level up my skills. I am always anticipating an opportunity to make a difference and deeply focused making impactful plays with my teammates. I possess speed and am able to cover significant ground in the outfield. As a Utility player, I am dynamic. I am able to play where my coach and team need me to play for the best outcome.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am extremely competitive, mentally tough, and adaptable. I am dedicated to working hard to achieve success. Integrity and my values are critical on and off the field. I have high standards for my words and actions, always trying to become better at anything I put my mind to. I am kind-hearted and thoughtful.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Member of National Honor Society and the South Portland Leadership Academy. Volunteer at Best Buddies, teach Faith Formation at St. John's Catholic Parish, and Yearbook Committee. I work part-time at Skillin Elem School as a Counselor in the after-school program. Selected to the Southwestern Activities Association Student-Athlete Leadership Summit. Recipient State of Maine Citizenship Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I pioneered a softball fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics athletes and looking to grow the fundraising event in 2026. This event made me grateful for the support of players and community. I strengthened my ability to organize, work under pressure, create rosters, secure umpires, curate concession table for profit, and create enthusiasm. Big and small acts of kindness are important to me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am grateful for challenges since that is when I learn more about myself. I have a sibling with special needs. I changed my assigned middle school to be closer to my sister during the school day. When I changed schools, I didn't know anyone. It was difficult but worth the challenge, proving I could do hard things and I was better for it. Close to my sister and forged amazing friendships.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that values well-rounded students supporting both academic and athletic goals. I would like the college to have many academic offerings and opportunities for me to explore my interests. A softball program where I can make a difference, meet new friends, and live out my dream of playing college ball.
