About Addie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play loose and with a lot of excitement, especially during long, competitive rallies. I play best with strong vocal support from my teammates and bring that same energy by leading cheers and everyone involved. I’m competitive and love to win, but my main goal is to leave every game knowing I gave it my all.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m an energetic, vocal player who brings positivity and enthusiasm to the field. I take pride in being a supportive teammate and contributing to strong team chemistry.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve played varsity field hockey at my high school and have been very involved in my school and local community. I used to participate heavily in local theater, have earned over 300 SSL hours (earning an additional tassel at graduation), and regularly attend service activities through my local church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Field hockey improves my conditioning, coordination, and helps me become a better teammate and leader.My involvement in local theater helped me build confidence, teamwork skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. Earning over 300 SSL hours and participating in church service activities strengthened my sense of responsibility, time management, and commitment to giving back to my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced was the loss of my grandmother, who I was very close with. She lived with my family during hospice care, and her passing was pretty difficult. Going through that experience taught me empathy and the importance of supporting others during hard times, and it helped me grow both personally and emotionally.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me academically and athletically and encourages growth both in the classroom and on the field. I also wish to play on a team with supportive teammates that will encourage me to play my best and grow.
