Alexis Smeals
About Alexis
Expert Analysis
Lathan Sepeda | Prep Softball Scout
Alexis Smeals is building momentum with a powerful arm and an advanced approach inside the circle. The two-time USA Softball All-American recently reached 67.4 mph while consistently sitting between 65 and 66 mph, but what impresses me most is that she continues working just as hard on command, spin, and off-speed pitches. During the USA All-American Games, Alexis recorded 15 strikeouts with only one walk across eight innings of work. Now ranked among the Northeast’s top 2030 pitchers, she has the velocity, discipline, and competitive mindset to keep pushing her name higher on recruiting boards.
