About Piper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a high-IQ, fundamentally sound middle infielder who plays fast, smart, and with consistency. I bring confident defense, quick hands, strong instincts, disciplined at-bats, and emerging gap power. A composed competitor and natural leader, I elevate teammates through effort, coachability, and relentless drive to improve.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a driven, competitive middle infielder who loves learning and getting better every day. I take pride in being coachable, staying composed under pressure, and leading by example. I bring positive energy, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset, always pushing myself and my teammates to reach the next level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am vice president of my 2029 class. I plan events and activities at my school all throughout the year. I also attend and volunteer at my church - The Journey.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through softball and school, I’ve learned how to lead by example, communicate with confidence, and be a dependable teammate. I value accountability, respect, and supporting others. Giving back through community service has taught me humility, gratitude, and perspective, helping shape me not only as an athlete, but as a strong young leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a tough hitting slump that tested my confidence and patience. Instead of giving in to frustration, I trusted my training, stayed disciplined in my reps, leaned on my coaches, and focused on small improvements. The challenge strengthened my mindset, rebuilt my confidence, and reminded me that growth comes through perseverance and consistency.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to all levels at this time. I would love to attend a Christian college but am open to any and all opportunities at this time.

Piper Todd is a true student-athlete, carrying a 4.3 GPA and serving as the vice president of her class at Yulee High School in Florida. With goals to eventually become a pediatrician, Todd is motivated both on and off the softball field and lets her strong mind lead the way for her. She competes with EC Bullets Premier Todd on the club level and also participates in weight lifting. As a middle infielder who plays both shortstop and second base, Todd is a leader on and off the field.
