About Autumn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I bring intensity and passion to each rep and opportunity given. As a competitor, I strive to be supportive leader on and off the field. I take pride in my work ethic and always try to make adjustments....

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to work hard behind the scenes, enjoy the process, and focus on what I can control.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I made honor roll throughout junior high and and take great pride in my academics. I also enjoy volunteering during my spare time with my family to give back to the community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years I have worked hard developing my leadership skills, along with being a supportive teammate who values the process and teamwork.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had a few injury obstacles during my softball career. Moreover, I have learned to treat every injury with the same focus and determination that I bring to the field and my academics. I have learned the importance of taking care of my body. Furthermore, fueling myself with good nutrition, and incorporating athletic support training, such as, yoga, pilates, and mobility work is instrumental.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that values continuous development, academic excellence, and community engagement.

Autumn Lavit, a freshman out of Arizona, is off to a hot start with her high school team this season. In just nine at-bats, she has walked twice with three RBIs and two hits, with one of those hits being her first career high school home run. With a .364 OBP, she is seeing the ball well in this young season. Be on the lookout for Autumn the rest of this spring and into the summer season, as this is only just the start of what is sure to be a successful career ahead.
