Fitzsimmons has been called on to pitch nine times this season and sports a 5-2 record and 2.40 ERA thus far, striking out 88 batters in the process. At the plate, she is hitting .600 with a home run and 15 runs batted in across 40 plate appearances. The two-way star visited Auburn for camp in December after a successful season with Unity Bryan Jones. Fitzsimmons is also a volleyball player who was on the Sneads squad for the fall season.
