A standout at one of the top softball programs in the state, Camila Diaz was part of a Doral Academy team that won last season's 6A state championship. That Firebirds squad completed a 31-1 season last year and finished its 2025 campaign with a 14-game winning streak. Diaz has made her presence known with her work in the circle. During the summer, she participated in the Alliance Fastpitch National Tournament in Indiana with the Santa Fe Inferno and made the All-Tournament Team playing up in class in the 16U Tier II field. Prior to that, Diaz posted a 3-1 record with 11 strikeouts in 10 innings at Show Me The Money in Newberry.

Skylar Colas has maintained a very busy athletic schedule over the years, competing in a variety of athletic disciplines. In addition to what she does softball-wise, Colas has also competed in soccer, tennis, basketball, bowling, volleyball and track. Colas plays up in class with Florida Storm 16U during her travel schedule. The Mount Dora team she is joining this upcoming season qualified for a berth in last season's 3A state tournament. Colas has played against varsity competition as a middle schooler at Mount Dora Christian Academy and is ready to bring her many softball talents to the high school ranks.

Also a Florida Storm prospect, Curry recently completed a stellar career with Grey MS and is looking for even bigger things in her first season with 6A South Lake. The Eagles have qualified for the 6A state tournament the last five seasons. She is also a multi-sport athlete who has played volleyball and basketball throughout her athletic career. During the summer, Curry was selected to the Puerto Rico 15U National Team. Her team earned a massive 4-0 upset over Team USA at the 15U Softball World Cup in Italy and won a silver medal at the international competition. Curry is just getting started.

Bella Ortiz also has international playing experience with Puerto Rico's 15U National Team. She was profiled in a recent Prep Softball article this year. Throughout her career, Ortiz has competed in a variety of sports including soccer, lacrosse and basketball. Last season, in large part because of her arm, Geneva improved from eight wins in 2024 to a 22-4 record, while also finishing as 1A state runners-up. As an eighth grader, Ortiz built a 10-0 record with a 2.14 ERA. She struck out 95 batters while only allowing 35 walks and 16 earned runs. If it was hard to get hits and score runs on her as an eighth grader, imagine how lethal she will be in the circle as she continues to gain more experience.

There are not too many pitching prospects at this level who can say they carved up a JUCO team with their arm. But Brooklynn Fitzsimmons is not a typical prospect. She has also reached 67 mph on the radar gun. Fitzsimmons is a product of Unity Bryan Jones 2027/2028. Jones is a former assistant coach at Duke. Her Pirates had a down season in 2025, but the addition of Fitzsimmons should predict an improvement for 1A Sneads. As Fitzsimmons displayed in her previous travel stint with North Florida Glory, she is regularly reaching into the 60s from the circle, and her pitches have even gotten the better of Division I hitters before.

Lynlee Klinger was recently recognized as a Top 25 14U prospect at Scenic City in Chattanooga. She was also honored as part of the Show Me The Money Georgia All-Tournament Team. Klinger will be joining a Lake Brantley team that concluded its 2025 season with a 25-4 record, in addition to recording a berth in the 7A state quarterfinals. During the fall campaign, Klinger helped her Tampa Mustangs Ohana team to a 23-8 record and played amongst 16U teams at the Ray Seymour Invitational. Klinger is not only a tough out when she is at the plate, but she can also make things difficult for defenses with her speed on the basepaths.
