Thanks to Sidney Franklin’s play, Oxford appears poised to eclipse that 2025 win total, as it is currently 11-7 with six games left in its regular season. One of the Chargers’ most recent wins occurred in a 10-8 slugfest against another 7A team in Clinton. Franklin aided her team’s cause with two hits, three runs scored and a walk. She was especially instrumental in delivering Oxford’s first victory of the 2026 campaign. It occurred in a 9-6 decision against South Pontotoc, during which she hit a two-run home run and was a triple shy of the cycle.
