About Ella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Versatile. I have the ability to play multiple positions: 2B, SS, 3B, OF. I am typically in the top of the lineup to utilize my speed. (27) SB - Conference leader in my sophomore year. I can switch / slap, bunt R/L and hit gap to gap with power ability.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Team first. Hold each other accountable and let the little things go! Set high goals and work to achieve them. Believe and never give up!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Virtue Warrior Award - Shrine of St. Anne Honor Roll Homeless Holiday Volunteer

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Team building opportunities yearly with my HS & club teams. I am a sophomore, but felt like I was a leader on the field for HS this season as starting SS/leadoff. Teamwork is why I play! I try to evolve as a better teammate every season and strive to be positive in any situation. I work within our neighborhood community to help with small opportunities to make it grow and be successful.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I face adversity every time I step on the field due to my smaller size. I have been told that I play like I'm 6'4" every day and have the energy to spark my team at any time.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college that can overlook the eye test and take a chance on me for the player that I am. I'm looking for a program that has high academic values, volunteer opportunities, and has shown success in it's softball program.
