Oregon continues to produce standout softball talent, and the class of 2029 is no exception. Across the state, these young athletes are already turning heads with their skill, drive, and competitive edge.   From power hitters to lockdown defenders, these are the 2029 prospects making a name for themselves and proving that Oregon softball is as strong as ever.    Simone Sinha is a 2029 grad attending Southridge High School and is recognized as a talented middle infielder. Known for her quick first step and exceptional range, she hits in the three-hole and consistently drives powerful line drives to the opposite field. With a home-to-first speed of 2.8 seconds, she is a constant threat on the bases. Her exit velocity is 67 mph, and her overhand throw also measures at 67 mph, highlighting her strength and athleticism. Quiet but fiercely competitive, Sinha possesses a high softball IQ and maintains a composed demeanor, making her a dependable and respected presence on the field.     Jaylee Litten is a right-handed pitcher for Soar Athletics 18U Premier/Bailey and Churchill High School, and she is a standout player in both pitching and hitting. In just her second year at the 18U level, she is gaining attention for her consistent low-60s velocity and effective drop-curve that keeps batters off balance. Litten's impact on the game extends to her performance at the plate, where she is known for hitting home runs in crucial moments. Jaylee Litten's athleticism and confidence make her capable of succeeding at the next level.     Emily Rucker, a right-handed pitcher for the NW Vandals 14U Hollen/Smith team, continues to demonstrate why she is considered one of the top pitchers in the Northwest for the class of 2029. This fall, while competing against the NW Vandals and Soar, she faced 224 batters and allowed 31 hits. She struck out 81 while posting a 2.95 ERA. Known for her powerful 66 mph fastball and strong command, Rucker has a phenomenal presence in the circle. At the plate, she also made her mark with an impressive .387 batting average. Her fall performance has made her a rising star and a promising young pitcher for the rest of the season and into spring.     Paityn LaBore, a class of 2029 shortstop and catcher for Oregon Blaze 16U Verbanic, is one of the program's top players. In 80 games in summer and fall 2025, she batted .418 with 21 doubles, six triples, six home runs, and 77 RBIs. Her ability to hit the ball hard to all fields has made her a key run producer over the past three years. LaBore is a dependable defender at shortstop, making challenging plays and throwing out nearly half of attempted base-stealers. Her reliability, competitive spirit, and strong teamwork make her an essential player for any coach she plays for.     Chiana Boppre is a standout pitcher for the Soar Athletics Premier 16U team, impressing on the field. She consistently pitches in the low-to-mid 60s with a powerful drop ball and high-spin fastball, thanks to her athletic build and strength. Her dominance extends beyond the pitcher's circle. Last summer, she hit 15 home runs, proving herself as a formidable two-way player with a significant amount of power. She consistently steps up to drive the ball for her team. Boppre consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and humble leadership with her play.     Josie Feist, a standout from the Oregon Blaze Drucker 14U team, is a top athlete in the class of 2029. As a versatile utility player, she excels as a pitcher, middle infielder, and outfielder. This fall, Feist has been a force at the plate, hitting .581 with 25 hits, 12 extra-base hits, and 22 RBIs, along with a 1.733 OPS. These statistics highlight the remarkable, game-changing mentality that Feist possesses. In the pitching circle, she has a 3.11 ERA so far this fall and holds opponents to a .258 batting average. Her blend of power, speed, and high-softball IQ makes her a game-changer, while her positivity and leadership inspire her teammates. Josie Feist is a determined player eager to maintain her success this fall and into the high school season.
