She shows confident defensive actions with quick hands, efficient footwork, and smooth transitions that allow her to control the infield. Offensively, she impressed at the Mid TN Exposure event in Tennessee, hitting .500 with a .500 on-base percentage and a 1.125 OPS, showing a mature approach and consistent barrel contact. Her commitment to improvement is evident through dedicated weight room work, and her multi-sport background as a volleyball player adds to her coordination and explosiveness. Away from the field, she has also demonstrated strong character by volunteering at the local 4-H Holiday Market in support of her community animal shelter.

Charlotte Schrand is coming off an outstanding fall season, capped by her performance at the Mid-Tennessee Exposure event in late October. She batted .500 with a 1.125 OPS, showcasing her extra-base power to the opposite field as well as her smooth defense at second base and shortstop. Schrand handles tricky hops without much trouble and applies clean tags on would-be base stealers. Playing for the Tennessee Mojo organization, Schrand’s approach is up the middle, with many of her hits splitting the gaps. She also has excellent range in the field, taking charge on pop-ups down the lines in the shallow part of the outfield that are difficult for the corner infielders and outfielders to reach. Schrand has been as consistent as it gets at the plate, hitting .550 with a .667 on-base percentage at the Colorado Sparkler over the summer and drawing seven walks in 27 plate appearances.

The stats help tell the story of Charlotte Schrand’s productive summer with the bat. Playing for the Tennessee Mojo, Schrand hit .484 with a .564 on-base percentage and a 1.155 OPS against top talent. This fall, she has had much of the same results. At the PGF KY Chrome Invite in October, she helped her team clinch the title and hit for a .455 batting average, including two doubles. She is a versatile infielder, and is able to play second base, shortstop, or third base with excellent range and accuracy. Schrand is also an avid weightlifter, and continuously works on improving her hitting, fielding, and arm strength.
