About Bre

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High softball IQ, disciplined, mechanically sound player who loves to play the game. I also love practice and the opportunity to grow and learn from my coaches, teammates and from my own failures. It’s a sport where you are ever growing and learning, and one that I have so much fun playing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Disciplined, fun-loving and positive. I try to build up others around me which builds me up in return. I feed off the energy.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Selected to National Junior Honor Society and have been on Honor Roll every quarter. I also volunteer with my church helping those in need.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I feel I am a leader on my team and in the classroom. I have participated in numerous sports and am always willing to help and inspire others. Further, I am active in my community and volunteer with my church helping those in need.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

All athletes face obstacles and challenges throughout their career. I’ve been in slumps, coaches have quit or been fired mid season, teams have folded but I have persevered and continued to work hard.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that will help me succeed in the future, with a good alumni base and one with solid academics. Further one where I can enjoy all the benefits of a student athlete such as watching other sports and athletes, building friendships and learning to be more self sufficient. Academics is super important to me.
