About Rashani

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Speed, strong armed, good glove, with surprising power. Good instinctive base runner.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Friendly, but cautious. Good teammate that is vocal on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Member of the Orion Hunter Elite 16u club team, and on the high school level, was named 1st team All Regional in her junior year

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Although moving from the Caribbean for a chance to play softball, I have quickly become an on the field leader on both the club and high school teams. I am team oriented, and supportive, regardless of my own performance.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge has been moving away from family and friends, to a totally new and different environment, to pursue my passion to play softball on the highest levels. This has required great adjustments both at school and at home, residing with a family of individuals with whom I am not very familiar.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that promotes diversity, and seeks to educate and support the whole child, and not just the athlete.
