What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I became team captain for my JV team. I have been positive on and off the field even when losing. Encouraging new girls to try new things and pushing themselves to believe in them. I have started helping out the new younger generation of softball learn the skills and mindset of the game. Being enthusiastic when catching and always talking.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have broken my nose, my foot/ankle while playing but I always keep my mind set right and keep pushing through. While playing with my club team I still went to every game and cheering them and encouraged them even when I wasn't able to play.
What type of college are you looking for?
Any player is going to say they want D1 school to play at but I have been keeping options open. I am looking at NAIA schools as well as JUCO schools to play at.
