She is already playing a significant role in Gwynedd Mercy Academy's rotation this season. Through her first six appearances at the time of this writing, she struck out 26 batters in 18.2 innings, and just recently hit a PR velocity of 66 mph. Mary has already attended college camps at Notre Dame and Boston College, and she has shown the physical attributes of a Division I starter. With some more fine tuning of her offspeed pitches, and if she continues to pound the zone, Mary can catapult herself into the conversation for one of the top arms in Pennsylvania.

Riley Palank is a physical beast, who made the varsity team at Notre Dame this year with ease and is off to a lightning quick start this year. In her first eight games of varsity ball, she's batting .462 with two home runs, three doubles, three triples and 12 RBI. She's a 5-foot-8 player who can lock down second, shortstop and third base with ease. She also grades out incredibly well in measurements like exit velocity (77 mph) and throwing velocity (64 mph). She even hit a 260-foot home run in one of her first-ever varsity games. Riley is well on her way to becoming one of the best hitting prospects in the state of Pennsylvania.

Hailey Fell had just about the best season imaginable last year in her final year at the junior varsity level. In 14 games, she slashed a whopping .725/.776/1.550 with a 2.326 OPS. That's just an insane statistical season for one of the brightest young athletes in her state. And since joining the varsity squad at Laurel High School, she hasn't skipped a beat, batting a clean .500 with six doubles and five RBI in her first six games against some really talented schools. Hailey, a two-sport athlete who also competes at a high level in volleyball, is also on a high-level travel team with the Lady Dukes.

Jordan Frye is a talented catcher with a strong slap-hitting bat and incredible defensive skills. Her sub-two second pop time, combined with a 1.72-second release time, grades out near the top of her class in Pennsylvania, and is a promising sign for her career behind the dish. Through her first five games with Lower Dauphin, she went 11-for-18 with a pair of doubles and seven RBI, all while striking out just one time in 20 plate appearances. Jordan is exactly the type of high-contact, low-strikeout dynamic player who college teams will jump on the second she becomes an eligible recruit to contact.

Playing for an out-of-state, 18U travel team as a freshman in high school tells you exactly how talented [player_tooltip player_id='103003' first='McKenna' last='Seiler'] is. The Conwell-Egan righty is a power pitcher with a fastball that hovers in the mid-60s, and she's already being touted as one of the best pitching prospects from her high school in nearly 20 years by local media. McKenna has tremendous control and command of all her pitches, and showcases insane offspeed dealings that buckle batters' knees following heat-seeking fastballs. She could very well anchor a strong rotation in high school en route to a state championship, all while continuing to build an already immensely impressive travel ball resume.

Several softball players from Pennsylvania have already separated themselves this high school season and laid the groundwork for a strong campaign ahead. For the class of 2028, canceled games, doubleheaders and a moving target of a schedule opens up plenty of opportunities to see the field and showcase their skills as freshmen.
