Top 2027 Prospects To Watch In Wisconsin

She has dominated at showcases and graded out incredibly well, demonstrating the pure athleticism she possesses. Showtime Sports ranked her as its top recruit in the class of 2027 because of her slick glove up the middle and tremendous bat. At a recent showcase, she hit a max overhand velocity of 72.8 MPH and has shown a bat speed close to 82 MPH. It helps college coaches to know that her sister, Riley, is quickly making a name for herself at Northwestern, so that high-level softball acumen runs in the Grudzielanek household. The catcher-first member of Badger High School and Puma Academy has an explosive swing that helps her drive the ball extremely well to all parts of the field. Though her swing may need some fine tuning over the next two years before college, she uses her entire body and allows the barrel to stick in the zone for a long period of time. Behind the plate, she has a tremendous arm and a quick transfer that allows her to get runners out at second and third with relative ease. Behind the plate, she has clocked a pop time of 2.18 seconds with an arm velocity of 49 MPH. She struggles to get into a good position for a solid transfer when throwing down to second base, but Ginny relies on her strong arm and pop time to make up for that deficiency, which can be worked on over the next two years. At the plate, Ginny swings with ease, and her strength allows the ball to fly off of her bat, and before you know it, the ball is smashing off of the outfield fence or going over it. It's simple and done with ease, yet explodes at contact with a registered bat speed consistently north of 70 MPH. She stays back on the ball better than most, and allows her lower half to help her drive the ball tremendously well to the middle of the field in the process. Over the past two years, she has hit the showcase circuit and dominated at each stop, showing her skills are translating well as she continues to move up in competition. She has incredible lift on the ball, possessing a long swing that allows her to pepper the left-center field wall with ease. She does struggle a bit with rise balls that inch closer to her as well as pitches on the inside of the plate, but by closing her stance up just a tad, Jhade should be able to get to those pitches and adjust properly to them. She also has the arm to keep third base hers at the next level without much of an issue. With more development and growth over the next couple years, Jhade should be able to grow into herself a bit with a bat that's already at a high level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
