She works to stay connected to her lower half, uses her legs, and develops force from the ground up. Her publicly shared cage work demonstrates that she is intentionally refining the mechanical details of her swing rather than relying solely on natural strength. As her timing, barrel consistency, and pitch recognition continue developing, she has the potential to become a dependable middle-of-the-order bat. Defensively, Rottner provides a solid target at first base and has the profile to contribute at multiple positions. Continued improvement with her footwork around the bag, lateral movement, and throwing consistency will help expand her defensive value. Her background as a multi-sport athlete should also support her coordination, competitiveness, and overall athletic development.

Ellis Montgomery is a battle-tested right-handed pitcher who refuses to fold when the pressure rises. She proved that on the regional stage by escaping a bases-loaded, no-out jam without allowing a run. Montgomery disrupts hitters with an effective rise ball and changeup, changing eye levels and keeping opponents from settling into the box. She also defends her position with quick reactions and isn't limited to the circle. Her emerging power produced her first over-the-fence home run last fall. With big-game composure, two-way ability, and a competitive edge that shows up in crucial moments, Montgomery is built to take the ball when everything is on the line. She has the tools to become one of Vermont's biggest risers in the 2030 class.

Grace Neugent is a proven two-way standout who was producing varsity numbers before most players her age reached high school. As a seventh grader, she hit an eye-popping .670 and earned LSWA Class C First-Team All-State honors. In the circle, the 5-foot-7 right-hander competes with maturity beyond her years, highlighted by a playoff performance in which she allowed only three hits, no earned runs, and struck out seven batters. Neugent can control a game from both sides, silencing hitters as a pitcher and putting immediate pressure on defenses with her bat. Her production, composure, and experience against older competition make her one of Louisiana's most accomplished 2030 prospects and a player positioned to make another major jump this season.

Kaylie Kazmann brings a rare profile to the 2030 class as a left-handed shortstop with speed, instincts, and polished defensive ability. Her reads off the bat allow her to cover ground quickly, while her athleticism also translates naturally to center field. Offensively, Kazmann hit .410 with a .486 on-base percentage, 1.109 OPS, and 16 stolen bases, giving her the ability to ignite an offense in several ways. She combines consistent contact with gap power, smart base-running, and game-changing speed. Her unique skill set, multi-sport athleticism, and high-level glove make her one of the most exciting 2030 prospects to follow this fall.

Kynlee Aleeyah Shirley is a high-motor athlete whose speed can flip a game in an instant. Whether she is working in the middle infield or tracking down balls in center field, she covers ground, reacts quickly, and brings an attacking mentality to every play. At the plate, Shirley's game is built around putting the defense under pressure, as she can shoot the gaps, accelerate immediately out of the box, and turn a hard-hit ball into extra bases. Her inside-the-park home run for Southern Grit displayed both her wheels and determination, while her early varsity playing time at Purvis has given her invaluable experience against older competition. Shirley's range, versatility, and speed give her the ingredients to emerge as an exciting name in Mississippi's 2030 class.

The class of 2030 is loaded with rising talent ready to make serious noise this fall. As the competition gets stronger and the spotlight gets brighter, these young athletes will have an opportunity to showcase their skills, raise their stock, and separate themselves from the pack.
