<p>Below, Prep Softball highlights five prospects from the high school graduating class of 2029 who bring energy every time they step on the field.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Rayliegh Lower is a talented utility player from Chesapeake, Virginia, who primarily plays catcher and third base. Lower, who attends Grassfield High School, competes for OHE National Barham 16U on the travel ball circuit. Lower finished her first varsity season with a .380 batting average and a .515 OBP, as she struck out just two times all season. She also recorded 21 assists and 32 putouts, showing that she can get it done on both sides of the ball. Even as a freshman, she brought tremendous energy to a Grassfield team that finish 17-3 and as the top squad in Region 6A.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Aubrey Armacost is a right-handed throwing and left-handed hitting shortstop from Ohio, who can also play a solid center field. Her strong arm, quick reflexes, and aggressive play consistently provide jolts of energy to both her Bethel-Tate and Ohio Lasers teams. She excels at both slapping and power hitting as well as smart base-running, while also bringing vocal communication and competitive energy to the field each time she plays, making her a must-watch player in her class.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Aria Smith is a talented left-handed pitcher and outfielder from Penn Trafford School District and Team Pennsylvania McKee. As just a freshman this spring, Smith earned a First-Team Class 5A selection for her performance at the varsity level. She had a .458 batting average in 72 at-bats, .536 OBP, 1.077 OPS, 33 hits, 36 runs scored, and 28 stolen bases, to firmly put herself on the map as a 2029 prospect to watch. The energy those types of stats bring to a team is priceless, making Smith an invaluable member of any squad she is a part of.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Kinsley Hockensmith is a 2029 middle infielder from Cordele, Georgia, who has contagious energy and play-making skills. A 4.25-GPA student at Crisp County High School, Hockensmith plays club ball for Five Star Mafia Stripling and makes things happen. A consistent extra-base hitter, Hockensmith fires up her teams with her ability to both get on base and score runners with her own hits, positioning herself as an intriguing prospect in her class.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Abagail Nails is an athletic right-handed pitcher and utility player from Georgia in the 2029 class. Nails, who plays for Perry High School and Texas Bombers Gold 14U-Malpass, is a multi-sport athlete who can run, hit, and pitch with authority and impact for her squads. Her ability to do it all on the field provides an instant spark to her teams and makes her a tremendously valuable asset to her coaches. Based on her impressive skill set, we expect her to garner a ton of attention from college coaches in the coming months and years of her recruiting process.</p>
