2032 Two-Way Talent Making Noise Across The Field

The 2032 class is already loaded with softball players who are making an impact on both sides of the game. From power at the plate to dominance in the circle and strong defensive play, these rising stars continue to prove why they are some of the top young two-way talents to watch.   Below, Prep Softball highlights five two-way players from the high school graduating class of 2032 who are making noise across the field.    Julianna Minaird has established herself as one of the most exciting young two-way talents in the 2032 class with her ability to impact the game both offensively and defensively at a high level. A true center fielder with elite range and instincts, Minaird consistently tracks down balls in the gaps while bringing confidence and stability to the outfield. Her ability to cover ground was on full display at the PGF Super Select 12U Tournament, where she recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with eight putouts in center field against elite competition. What makes her performance even more impressive is the level she competed at throughout the spring. Prior to the tournament, Minaird spent the season playing up in 14U, where she more than held her own offensively. She finished the spring hitting .403 with 25 hits, 15 RBI, and seven sacrifice bunts, showcasing a mature approach at the plate and the versatility to contribute in multiple ways. Whether she is setting the tone offensively, creating pressure on defenses, or tracking down balls in center field, Minaird continues to prove she is a complete player who is capable of making an impact all over the field.     Vivian Palmer is a promising 2032 two-way talent whose work ethic and dedication to improvement continue to stand out both on and off the field. Carrying a 4.0 GPA while balancing the demands of competitive softball, Palmer brings a disciplined approach to every aspect of her game. Her commitment to speed and agility training has helped elevate her athleticism, allowing her to move confidently and efficiently on the field while continuing to develop as an all-around player. In the circle, Palmer has already shown the ability to make hitters uncomfortable with a sharp drop-curve and a well-spun curveball that consistently create movement and deception. She fields her position well, showing strong awareness and quick reactions that make her reliable defensively. Combined with her dedication to private instruction and player development, Palmer is steadily building the foundation to become a high-level impact player in the 2032 class.     Konstantina Bussey continues to emerge as one of the more polished young talents in the 2032 class, combining strong academics with impressive production on the field. Carrying a 4.0 GPA, Bussey approaches the game with maturity and consistency, and her dedication to development is evident every time she steps between the lines. Her commitment to putting in extra work on her own, along with doing private lessons, has helped her steadily elevate her game against high-level competition. At the PGF Super Select Championship, Bussey delivered an outstanding performance across four games. She collected four hits in seven at-bats, finishing with a .571 batting average, .667 on-base percentage, 1.381 OPS, and a .714 slugging percentage. Defensively, she was just as reliable, posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. Bussey's ability to contribute offensively while remaining fundamentally sound in the field makes her a true two-way player who continues to make noise in the 2032 class.     Pharyn Chandler is the type of athlete whose competitiveness and athleticism immediately stand out. A multi-sport athlete who also competes in basketball, Chandler brings quickness, coordination, and natural athletic ability to the softball field. Those traits consistently show up at the plate, where she has developed a reputation for driving the ball into gaps and hitting doubles with ease. Her swing continues to generate power as she matures, highlighted by the milestone moment of hitting her first over-the-fence home run on April 21. Chandler also proved she can perform in meaningful moments, helping lead her team to a championship at the PGF Swing Into Spring Elite Invitational. Her ability to contribute offensively while bringing energy and athleticism to the field makes her one of the more exciting players to watch in the 2032 class. As she continues to refine her game, Chandler's upside remains extremely high.     Kady Jones is a talented left-handed pitcher who continues to separate herself by competing against older competition and thriving in big moments. Playing up in older age divisions has accelerated her development and helped shape her into a poised competitor with confidence beyond her years. In the circle, Jones consistently works in the upper-50s, averaging 57 mph with a personal record of 59 mph, giving her the ability to challenge hitters with both velocity and presence. Jones also proved to be a major offensive contributor during her team's impressive run to a second-place finish at the Atlanta Vipers Invitational. She hit .476 during the event, collecting 10 hits, scoring 10 runs, and driving in five more. Her ability to impact the game both in the circle and at the plate makes her a true two-way talent in the 2032 class. With continued experience against older competition, Jones is quickly developing into a player who is capable of changing games in multiple ways.
