2030 Hitters Who Adjust Pitch To Pitch

Hitters who can make adjustments from pitch to pitch are often the ones who separate themselves in the recruiting process at a young age. The ability to recognize speed, location, and movement is what makes an offense dangerous. These class of 2030 athletes are showing advanced approaches at the plate, staying composed in big moments, and proving they can make the right adjustment when it matters most. Below, Prep Softball highlights five hitters from the high school graduating class of 2030 who adjust pitch to pitch. Chloe Hankins-Gonzalez is a versatile class of 2030 student-athlete from Surprise, Arizona who can contribute all over the field for her team. Whether she is playing second base, shortstop, in the outfield, or stepping into another role on the diamond, Hankins-Gonzalez brings athleticism and flexibility to the lineup. A member of Boom Baby 12U/14U, she also stands out in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. If she keeps up the strong work both on the diamond and in the classroom, she undoubtedly has a bright future ahead of her. Brooklyn Robles is a talented two-way player in the 2030 class who can make a serious impact for her squad in the circle, at third base, or anywhere else on the field. Playing for Athletics Mercado Gold 14U Ohio, Robles has already earned Region 2 USA All-American honors and maintains a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. Her combination of athletic ability, versatility, and leadership skills makes her one of the more intriguing young prospects from Ohio in her class. Lilly Hawthorne is a well-rounded class of 2030 student-athlete who brings value to her team behind the plate, at first base, and in the outfield. Competing for Beverly Bandits 14U Futures Ault/Moran, Hawthorne has also earned a spot on the USSSA Select 30 Team. Her versatility and ability to contribute in multiple ways make her a key piece for her squad, and a 2030 prospect with a bright future ahead of her in the game. Samantha Feldkamp is a promising class of 2030 student-athlete competing for Turnin2 Davis 13U National. The South Lyon, Michigan native brings talent and determination to the field while continuing to develop her skills against strong competition. With continued experience playing at a high level and representing South Lyon East High School in the future, Feldkamp is certainly a player to watch from Michigan in the 2030 class thanks to all the talent she brings to the field. Lyla Oliver is a rising class of 2030 standout whose offensive production continues to turn heads. A first baseman and outfielder for Beverly Bandits Futures 14U Ault, Oliver helped her team win the PGF Northern Champion Super Select while putting together impressive numbers at the plate. Hitting .500 with a .706 on-base percentage and 1.506 OPS, she showed a disciplined approach, extra-base power, and the ability to produce runs in big moments. Those types of skills, along with continued experience playing against strong competition, should set Oliver up well to be a key contributor to her team at the next level.
