<p class="text-gray-700">In May 2025, Hailey Collins was voted New Jersey's top freshman softball player after a dominant season on the dirt. The standout batted .400 with a .578 slugging percentage, recording 36 hits and 37 RBIs in 90 at-bats. Her extra-base production included 11 doubles, one triple, and one home run, while she also drew 11 walks and stole seven bases. Collins' ability to drive in runs while maintaining consistent contact made her a pivotal player in the lineup for her team, and positions her as an impactful hitter in the 2028 class.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Cailyn Centeno executed a solid two-way season in 2024-25, producing at the plate and in the circle for her high school's championship season. The freshman finished the year hitting .464 with a .876 slugging percentage, recording 45 hits, 38 RBIs, and eight home runs. She also collected 14 doubles, a triple, and nine walks in 97 at-bats. She was equally effective as a pitcher, logging 111.2 innings with 149 strikeouts, allowing just 31 earned runs over the season. Centeno's consistency on both sides of the ball played a pivotal role in her team's 25-2 record, which included going 10-0 in league play and winning a group title.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jamie Tarrow shined in her first season with Columbia High School. The class of 2028 hitter recorded 29 hits in 93 at-bats, finishing with a .312 batting average and .430 slugging percentage. She added 16 RBIs, along with 22 singles, five doubles, a triple, and a home run. Tarrow also reached base with four walks and four hit-by-pitches, reflecting a competitive approach in the box. Her steady growth within high school play points to Tarrow developing into a steady offensive presence for the remainder of her playing career.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Gabby Blumert extended her impact for Pequannock both in the box and pitching circle. At the plate, she hit .387 with a .520 slugging percentage, collecting 29 hits and 13 RBIs in 75 at-bats. Off the rips, she collected five doubles, one triple, and one home run, along with eight walks and two stolen bases. On the other side of the coin, Blumert logged 26.2 innings in her first year as a high school pitcher. She recorded 23 strikeouts while competing in key spots for her squad throughout the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ava Kilka, a right-handed pitcher, took over the circle for the Marauders, logging 110.1 innings with 74 strikeouts while posting a 3.62 ERA. Offensively, she proved her versatility, batting .371 with a .539 slugging percentage. She recorded 33 hits and 22 RBIs in 89 at-bats. She was familiar around the bases, as she posted five doubles, two triples, and two home runs, highlighting her ability to command the field on both sides of the game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Julia Beers turned in a well-rounded offensive season during her first year at Whippany Park. She finished with a .300 batting average and a .486 slugging percentage. She recorded 21 hits and 11 RBIs in 70 at-bats. Her sharp performance resulted in three triples and two home runs, while she also drew three walks. Beers' impact extended beyond the batter's box, as she swiped 16 stolen bases to apply pressure on opposing defenses. On her travel team, Beers finished the 2025 fall season with 26 hits, 14 stolen bases, and 23 runs scored.</p>
