Last year, [player_tooltip player_id='105430' first='Neely' last='Fornshell'] achieved a noteworthy accomplishment in her career. Her Minot Storm 12U Blue team competed in the 12U division of the Girls Fastpitch Junior Olympics. Fornshell was part of the team that claimed the state championship. She is one of a number of intriguing names across North Dakota who are beginning their eighth-grade years in 2026. Defensively, she is primarily an infielder who thrives at first base but also plays at third. A highlight of her 2025 season occurred when she drove in three RBIs and scored two runs in a 13-9 win over Diamonds Black 12U in July. Fornshell is just getting started and is poised for even greater things as she continues to develop.

A 5-foot-6 prospect out of Bismarck, Rawni Roemmich displays her defensive versatility with her ability to operate at a variety of spots on the softball field. In addition to stepping into the circle and making things happen with her right arm, Roemmich can also patrol the middle infield at second base and as a shortstop. The standout is also a multi-sport athlete who thrives as a golfer in addition to her softball accolades. Roemmich's career has also included a junior varsity stint at Legacy. Her career has included wearing the Bismarck Sparks Gold uniform, and she won a state championship with the team in the 12U division at the Junior Olympics Fast Pitch competition in 2024.

That Coyotes team that prevailed in the Class A ranks last season? Harper Stundal was part of that team. She has also partaken in other sports throughout her playing career. In addition to playing in the infield, Stundal can also head to the circle and make things happen as a pitcher. She was the only seventh grader on last season's Coyotes team, and is poised for even more success in the coming years. She saw playing time for her team as part of a 13-0 rout of Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg in the beginning of May. Stundal aided her team's offensive onslaught in that game with a walk and also by scoring a run.
