Every year, Scenic City transforms the Chattanooga/Dalton area into a hotspot for elite softball competition, hosting both its regular tournament and the prestigious Invitational side by side. Known as one of the nation's premier events, Scenic City attracts top programs and athletes eager to prove themselves against the best.

This fall was no exception, with several club teams delivering standout performances, clutch wins, and unforgettable moments. From dominant pitching staffs to explosive lineups, these six teams rose above the rest and made their mark on one of the most competitive stages in travel softball.

Athletics Mercado-Smith

Athletics Mercado Smith continued their dominance at Scenic City, finishing as the 18U co-champions at the T25 Invitational for the third straight season. The squad posted an impressive 5-1 record over the weekend, proving once again why they're one of the nation's elite programs. Loaded with committed talent, the team excelled at the highest level, highlighted by standout performances from players like UCLA-committed pitcher Coral Williams, who anchored the staff against top-tier competition. Their consistency and ability to rise in big moments solidify Athletics Mercado Smith as a perennial powerhouse.

Mojo Pardue

Mojo Pardue showcased offensive firepower at Scenic City, finishing the weekend with a 4-2-1 record against top-tier 16U competition. Their lineup was relentless, racking up over 50 runs throughout the event and keeping pressure on opposing defenses in every game. Mojo Pardue's ability to combine consistent hitting with aggressive play made them one of the most exciting teams to watch at the tournament.

Hustle Nation Ramon

Hustle Nation Ramon turned heads at Scenic City, going 4-2-1 against elite 16U competition despite being one of the youngest teams in the event. Their resilience and energy were on full display, highlighted by a clutch moment from shortstop Ava Pacheco, who delivered a walk-off two-run homer on Championship Sunday during bracket play. That game-changing swing capped an impressive weekend for a team that proved they can compete with anyone.

Team NC Taylor

Team NC Taylor put on an offensive clinic at the 14U T25 tournament, finishing with a strong 4-2 record and an incredible 18 home runs as a team. Leading the charge were Laney Tucker (2030) and Caroline Winser (2030) with three homers each, while Addy Morehead (2029) added five and Abby Brooks (2029) stole the show with seven. Their ability to generate runs and power throughout the lineup made Team NC Taylor one of the most dangerous and exciting teams at Scenic City.

AL Sparks Elite 14U

AL Sparks Elite 14U dominated the Scenic City stage with an impressive 7-1 record, showcasing both offensive firepower and defensive grit. Over the weekend, they outscored their opponents by a staggering 54-16 margin, proving their ability to control games from start to finish. Their consistency and depth across the roster propelled them to capture the coveted 14U title, cementing their status as one of the premier teams in the country.

Carolina Elite Child

Carolina Elite Child delivered a flawless performance at Scenic City, finishing the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record and claiming the top spot in their pool. Their offense was balanced and explosive, tallying 26 runs while three different players launched home runs to keep the momentum rolling. On the defensive side, they were nearly untouchable, allowing just five runs across all games and recording two shutouts. This combination of power at the plate and lockdown pitching made them one of the most dominant teams of the tournament.
