Five Leaders Who Let Their Play Do The Talking

When it comes to making an impact on the field, some players don't need to say much since their game speaks volumes. These five rising stars are setting the tone with their talent, work ethic, and ability to elevate those around them. Here's a closer look at the leaders who are letting their play do the talking. Bryli Seifert, a middle infielder in the 2027 class and an LSU commit, embodies the qualities of a quiet leader. She consistently drives the ball to all fields with impressive power, showcasing home run ability while maintaining a remarkable batting average. Seifert's range in the middle infield is outstanding, something she's been working hard to improve. She isn't afraid to get dirty to make a play for her team either. Though she may not be the most vocal player on the field, her strong work ethic and her steady presence set a positive tone. As a lead-by-example competitor, she elevates the performance of everyone around her. Madi Doty embodies the essence of a quiet leader; she may not say much on the field, but her performance speaks for itself. Also a Texas commit, she consistently rises to the occasion whenever she can. This past summer, she posted impressive statistics: 112.1 innings pitched, a remarkable 25-1 record, 154 strikeouts, a 1.50 ERA, and a 0.80 WHIP. With one of the best pitching arms in the country and an unwavering competitive spirit, Doty is a true competitor who allows her dominance in the circle to do all the talking. Brooklynn Hagerty is a right-handed pitcher in the class of 2027. She is recognized as one of the nation's top power pitchers and is committed to the University of Texas. She consistently throws in the 65-66 mph range, combining velocity with exceptional pitch movement and the ability to tunnel her pitches, which keeps hitters off-balance. Brooklynn competes with calm determination and quiet confidence, displaying poise in crucial moments that sets the tone for her team. Her presence in the circle inspires trust among her teammates, as they know she will challenge hitters and give her team a great chance to win each time she pitches. Grace Ely is a standout shortstop in the 2026 class. She is also committed to Delaware and is a player who lets her performance speak for itself. Playing for the Rhode Island Thunder National team, she combines quick hands, smooth glovework, and dependable versatility in the field. Ely also has a disciplined batting approach, achieving a .350 batting average and an on-base percentage of .411. She may not be the most vocal player on the team, but she prioritizes hard work and elevating her teammates. Her consistency and dedication both on and off the field make her one of the most well-rounded infielders in her class. Kailey “KK” Murillo is the heart and soul of Athletics Mercado Tidd - 2011, bringing unmatched energy and support for her teammates every time she steps onto the field. A natural leader, she consistently gives 100% both on and off the diamond, setting the tone with her relentless work ethic and positive attitude. Known for her exceptional fielding skills, KK makes challenging plays look effortless and seldom lets anything get by her on the field. During the summer, she played a crucial role in her team winning the PGF National Championship with impressive defensive plays and timely hits. KK is the type of player every coach trusts and every teammate loves.
