Her presence was felt at the plate and on the bases. Johnson finished the travel ball campaign with a .535 OBP. Once the pitcher/shortstop reached base, she made things happen for her team. Johnson stole 44 bases and also displayed an ability to hit for power. Her speed on the bases and her power-hitting skills can help her stretch a base hit into an extra-base knock. Johnson connected for 12 doubles and eight triples. During the 2024-25 campaign, she contributed to the Dawson County High School JV team and was impactful on the bases. Utech stole more bases than games she played in last year. She stole 19 bases in 15 games, showcasing her speed and creating scoring situations for her team. Her success last season has carried over into this year'scampaign. Utech, a center fielder and slap hitter, has already snagged four bases in six games. Hanna High School. She played in 26 games on the varsity squad, while hitting for power (.658 slugging percentage) and average (.466). Once she reached base, Coakley was able to create scoring opportunities for her team. She stole 23 bases in 26 games, while leading the Yellow Jackets in runs (29). Polanco's freshman campaign earned her All-Conference accolades from the Oakland Press. She exemplified her speed by snagging 15 bases in 21 games. Polanco had four games during the season in which she stole two bases. When she reached base, at a rate of .534, Polanco was pivotal in Hazel Park's offense. She scored 26 runs for the Vikings while hitting .414/.534/.741. The utility player maintained a 1.000 fielding percentage in 23 games, while excelling at the plate and on the bases. Fidaglo held a .429 batting average and a .520 OBP. When she reached base, she did more damage on the basepaths. Fidalgo swiped 23 bases in 23 games and also scored 23 runs. She also displayed a strong eye at the plate. Fidalgo walked more (10) than she struck out (eight). Fidalgo finished the season with seven doubles, two triples and drove in eight runs. In her first varsity season, she had a 1.123 OPS.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
