Her commitment to her craft is clear, making long toss a weekly priority, often two or three times a week, to continue building velocity and strength. On the national stage, Ramon delivered at the Colorado Sparkler, throwing 18.1 innings while allowing just three earned runs and no home runs for a 1.10 ERA. Those numbers reflect her ability to command the game and stay locked in against high-level competition. But Ramon is not just a pitcher. A standout on the Puerto Rican National Team, she helped Team Puerto Rico capture the silver medal at the U-15 Women's Softball World Cup, showing poise and fearlessness against some of the best competition in the world. A true two-way player, Melendez is a powerhouse in the circle. She brings mid-60s velocity paired with command and confidence, making her a difficult matchup for any hitter. Her relentless work ethic sets her apart, as she continues to refine her mechanics and add polish to an already explosive arsenal. Offensively, she brings consistent production, giving her teams an impact presence on both sides of the ball. In the U.S., Melendez competes with the Beverly Bandits, one of the nation's premier travel ball organizations. With them, she carried the same fire that defined her international success into a dominant 2025 season. Her team finished with an impressive 64-13-3 record, earning five championships along the way and closing out the summer as PGF Midwest Regional Champs. Whether it's pitching under pressure, stepping up in a championship moment, or producing at the plate, Melendez thrives when the stage is the biggest and the stakes are the highest. Few players in the 2029 class have the résumé and fearlessness of Bella Ortiz. This summer, Ortiz represented her country on the Puerto Rican National Team and helped lead Team Puerto Rico to a silver-medal finish at the U-15 Women's Softball World Cup in Italy. Her performance stood out on the world stage as she earned awards for both the best winning percentage as a pitcher and most RBIs in the tournament, showcasing her dominance as a true two-way threat. With Top Gun 16U National, Ortiz made her presence felt against older competition on the PGF circuit, while also contributing heavily for Top Gun 14U National on the Alliance stage. She hit .337 with 26 RBIs, good for second on the squad, and in the circle she posted a 5-2 record with 26 strikeouts and a .238 opponent batting average. At the Alliance Fastpitch 14U National Championships in Indianapolis, she struck out 22 batters across 12.1 innings and led her team in RBIs, powering Top Gun to a ninth-place finish out of 102 teams.
