Six Club Teams That Shined At Scenic City 2025

Scenic City has long been a proving ground for elite travel softball programs, and the 2025 edition was no exception. With hundreds of teams descending on Chattanooga, Tennessee, the competition was fierce, the talent was deep, and the stakes were high. Amid the packed schedule and high-pressure matchups, a handful of teams rose above the rest with dominant performances, cohesive play, and undeniable grit.

These six squads didn’t just win games, they made statements. Whether it was through lights-out pitching, explosive offense, or clutch performances in key moments, each of these teams left a lasting impression on the tournament and solidified their status as programs to watch. Here are the six teams that stood tallest at Scenic City 2025.

EC Bullets 09 – Lyons

The EC Bullets 09 – Lyons made a powerful statement at Scenic City, finishing with an impressive 7-1-1 record and securing a spot in the tournament’s top eight. Their dominance in the power pool was undeniable, as they consistently outperformed opponents and ranked at or near the top of nearly every statistical category. The team’s offensive firepower was on full display, racking up 64 runs, 80 hits, and 18 doubles over the course of the event. Their balanced attack and relentless energy made them one of the standout squads of the weekend, firmly earning their place among the six club teams that shined brightest.

Louisville Sluggers Hueker/Norwood

The Louisville Sluggers Hueker/Norwood stormed through Scenic City to claim the 16U Top 25 Championship, showcasing a jaw-dropping display of power by launching 27 home runs over the weekend. A dynamic mix of seasoned veterans and hungry, uncommitted younger players, this squad proved they could light up the scoreboard against any opponent. Their relentless offense and team chemistry made them one of the most exciting teams to watch, and they’ll look to ride this wave of momentum straight into Colorado. With their bats blazing and confidence soaring, the Sluggers are poised to make even more noise on the national stage.

Unity Schultheis/Johnson

The Unity Schultheis/Johnson squad delivered a true team performance at Scenic City, emerging as co-champions of the 14U Top 25 tournament alongside their sister team, Unity 2028 Attard/Hagen. Their championship run was a testament to their depth and resilience, with every player stepping up when it mattered most. From clutch pitching performances to dramatic walk-off wins, Unity Schultheis/Johnson showed poise under pressure and a collective determination that set them apart. Their ability to lean on each other in big moments made them one of the most inspiring teams at the tournament.

Unity 2028 Attard/Hagen

The Unity 2028 Attard/Hagen team made a major impact at Scenic City, finishing as co-champions of the 14U Top 25 tournament alongside their sister team, Unity Schultheis/Johnson. Their offense was electric throughout the tournament, piling up 66 hits, including 18 extra-base hits and seven home runs. This group combined power, consistency, and team chemistry to fuel their championship run. With contributions coming from every corner of the roster, Unity 2028 Attard/Hagen proved they’re a force to be reckoned with and one of the most well-rounded teams to take the field over the weekend.

Stars National Scott

The Stars National Scott team delivered a flawless performance at Scenic City, finishing with a dominant 9-0-1 record and capturing the Super Pool Championship. Their consistent excellence on the field drew the attention of college coaches all weekend, who packed the sidelines to watch this talented group in action. With a deep roster and high-level execution in every phase of the game, Stars National Scott proved they’re not just contenders, but they’re also leaders in the national club scene. Their undefeated run and championship finish made them one of the most talked-about teams of the tournament.

Gators Premier 16U Lloyd

The Gators Premier 16U Lloyd team showed incredible heart and grit at Scenic City, finishing as runners-up in the 16U Power Pool with a strong 7-1 record. Their journey was cut short due to heat-related illness and other injuries that prevented them from competing in the championship game, but their effort and determination never wavered. Every player gave everything they had, battling through adversity and proving they belonged among the tournament’s elite. Their resilience and performance left a lasting impression, earning them a well-deserved spot among the six club teams that shined brightest at the event.
